Carpenter
Location: Staines
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
Annual Salary: Up to £37,900 per annum
Benefits: Company van and fuel card
Hours: 42.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm)
Day-to-Day Duties
1. Carrying out reactive carpentry repairs in occupied social housing properties
2. Undertaking 1st and 2nd fix carpentry works
3. Duties to include, but not limited to:
Hanging doors
Skirting and architraves
Repairing and adjusting windows and doors
Lock changes
Repairing worktops and kitchen units
Minor uPVC repairs
4. Providing high levels of customer care at all times
Role Criteria
5. Proven experience in Carpentry
6. Previous social housing experience
7. Full, valid UK driving licence
To drive a Mears vehicle, applicants must be aged 21 or over, have held a licence for at least 3 months, and have fewer than 9 points.
All roles are subject to relevant background, identity, DBS, and security checks prior to commencement of employment.
