We are currently recruiting for a highly organised, qualified Learner Engagement Coach to join our existing team.
Role overview
The Learner Engagement Coach is responsible for building and maintaining effective referral partner relationships, lead generation and supporting a diverse group of adult learners through the screening and application process. The post holder will report to the Academy Manager and support the smooth functioning of learner recruitment, selection, and enrolment.
Responsibilities
* Travel within the Preston and Lancaster areas and academy spaces; work with learners in groups, 1-1, or remotely, conducting Information, Advice and Guidance sessions, initial assessments, coordinating appointments, and completing enrolment onto programmes; be the main point of contact for learner queries.
* Maximise learner numbers on scheduled programmes by providing strong, efficient information, advice and guidance; uphold the company value of "Right Learner, Right Programme, Right Time"; build and maintain referral partnerships across the region.
* Generate target learner leads; liaise with Head of Operations and Academy Manager to identify key target areas; screen and engage target learner volumes.
* Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including referral partners; engage funding partners and stakeholders to secure learner referrals for the Academies.
* Act as central point of contact for onboarding learners for adult learning and pre-employment programmes; take calls from potential learners and provide information on programmes.
* Provide robust and timely pre-programme information, advice and guidance, managing learners' expectations of the course; respond to learners by accepting, rejecting or deferring applications; signpost where relevant.
* Coordinate and complete the initial screening and learner application process, including interviews to determine course suitability; lead on onboarding communications with learners enrolled onto programmes.
* Provide continuous support throughout the learner journey; produce statistics and reports on learner progress against targets; ensure CRM system is updated and maintained; attend Jobcentre Plus offices, community hubs, probation services and other referral agencies to conduct 1-2-1 and group information or enrolment sessions.
* Provide weekly feedback to Head of Sales and Academy Manager, or referral partners, on learner engagement and retention; carry out safeguarding risk assessments and reporting to DSO.
* Assist with the organisation and running of events within the academy and attend events such as jobs fairs to generate leads where possible.
Qualifications
* Educated to a minimum of GCSE grade C in English and Maths or equivalent.
* IAG to a Level 2; or willingness to work towards.
