Anderson Knight is delighted to be partnering with a leading organisation within the charity sector to recruit a Contracts and Commissioning Manager on a 6-month fixed-term basis.
This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of, and enhance, planning and contract management across the business. The role offers a remote working model, with occasional travel required for meetings.
Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Contracts and Commissioning Manager will play a key role in supporting the planning, delivery, and performance monitoring of services.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the coordination, review, and continuous improvement of tender submissions, ensuring they effectively showcase the organisation’s strengths.
* Provide analytical insights to support tendering activity and contractual agreements.
* Analyse trends, growth projections, and market insights to inform business strategy.
* Conduct risk assessments on contracts to minimise exposure while supporting sustainable growth aligned with the strategic plan.
* Develop and implement contracts where required, including dispute resolution frameworks and agreed timelines.
* Monitor and report on ratings from statutory and regulatory bodies.
* Identify and pursue relevant contract opportunities through appropriate portals.
* Liaise with funders regarding any financial or contractual matters, including rate changes.
* Support external marketing initiatives and promote the organisation’s brand and service offering.
* Track and report on performance through KPIs and service outcomes.
* Contribute to the development of annual reports, including forecasting future trends and service direction.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders across services, health, and education to support partnership working and align with national priorities and legislation.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with local authorities, purchasers, and partner agencies.
* Influence stakeholders at both local and national levels regarding service requirements.
* Maintain strong customer relationships to support service sustainability.
* Engage in continuous professional development and contribute to performance review processes.
* Undertake additional duties as required by the Director of Services.
