Offer description

1. Establish sound relationships with Architects & Surveying Practices, House builders, Local Authorities, Roofing & Facade Contractors, Building Contractors, Modular Building Co’s, Sealant Applicators and B2B’s.

2. Achieve budgeted sales targets set for your area.

3. Generate and manage product specifications, develop enquiries and leads that convert to orders. Accurately record projects keeping the information “live” via the companies CRM system.

4. Carry out presentations to construction professionals and promote Roofing, Façade & Sealant products as required.

5. Provide a detailed monthly report outlining key activities and competitor information to your line manager.

6. Support and provide excellent customer service and technical back up to the customer base to include accurate quotations and project support.

7. Work closely with Carlisle / Arbo technical team(s) to ensure projects are installed to Carlisle guidelines and QA Procedures.

8. Ensure you have a competent knowledge of Carlisle / Arbo products and services and attend company training courses and relevant industry events to keep your knowledge up-to-date.

9. Communicate regularly and as required with the company’s Internal Sales, Technical, Marketing and Finance departments.

10. Attend sales meetings and performance reviews as required.

11. Follow procedures and guidelines as detailed in the Carlisle Employee Handbook and Guiding Principles.

12. Perform any other task or duty to help the company achieve its objectives.

13. Utilise the Carlisle Operating System (COS) ways of working in all relevant tasks and projects.

The above list is not exhaustive and your duties may vary from time to time to suit company needs

14. English & Maths.

15. Relevant training courses attended preferred, e.g. Key Account Management or Project Management.

16. Full UK Driving Licence.

17. Proven experience of selling through specification channels to the construction industry.

18. Ability to operate at a strategic level, demonstrating effective planning and thinking.

19. Good business acumen and understanding of a company / region P&L.

20. Knowledge of CRM systems.

21. Strong Communication & Presentation skills.

22. Strong negotiation and relationship building skills.

23. The role covers the Midlands in the UK - preferable for the candidate to live on the area.
