Job Summary
We are seeking an organised, efficient, and approachable Medical Secretary to join our team on a fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave. The successful candidate will provide high-quality administrative and secretarial support to our clinicians and patients.
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide professional secretarial and administrative support to clinicians and healthcare staff.
· Manage patient correspondence, including typing clinic letters and reports.
· Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in line with GDPR requirements.
· Handle telephone and email enquiries in a courteous and efficient manner.
· Liaise with patients, relatives, and other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth communication and service delivery.

Qualifications
* Previous office experience is essential, with a preference for candidates who have worked in a healthcare setting.
* Administrative experience is highly desirable, showcasing proficiency in managing office procedures.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective interaction with patients and staff.
* Excellent organisational abilities with a focus on attention to detail to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Proficiency in using computer systems and software relevant to medical administration is required.
