Overview
We are looking for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly and passionate team at Park Vets. Our role presents the opportunity to work across all departments including surgery, prep, clinics, outpatients, and kennels (with the support of our dedicated kennel nursing team). We are seeking a dedicated, adaptable nurse who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering gold-standard care to our patients. The successful candidate will fit seamlessly into our lovely, close-knit team, contributing to a supportive and collaborative working atmosphere.
Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality nursing care across multiple departments (surgery, prep, clinics, outpatients, kennels)
* Maintain gold-standard standards of care and support patients and owners
* Collaborate within a large team of vets, nurses, and support staff to ensure seamless patient care
Working pattern
* Full-time, 40-hour week with varied shifts between 7am and 8:30pm
* Weekend rotation: 1 in 4 weekends worked, with lieu days offered
* Shared second on-call rota with the nursing team, focused on inpatient care when needed

Our in-house departments include client care, bookings, finance, insurance, and laboratory services, ensuring a seamless experience for both patients and their owners. Out-of-hours care is provided by Vets Now, who are on-site from 6pm to 9am.
Parkvets Veterinary Hospital is based in Foots Cray within the London Borough of Bexley offering 24/7 care to their loyal clients. We have a large enthusiastic and friendly team including a dedicated Veterinary Care Assistant team, client care team, insurance team, bookings team and lab team. We have a wide range of equipment including ultrasound, radiography, orthopaedic surgery, laparoscopic surgery, ophthalmology, internal medicine and exotics, supported by a variety of certificate holders within our veterinary team.

Requirements
* Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) with current registration (RCVS)
* Experience in a busy veterinary practice and ability to work across multiple departments
