RG Consultancy are delighted to be working with an excellent, well established company based in Accrington who are looking for a Credit Controller to join their small friendly finance team.
The Credit Controller will be responsible for managing the sales ledger, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts, maintaining strong relationships with customers, and minimising credit risk.
Responsibilities
* Chase outstanding debts via telephone & email
* Dealing with customer queries and liaise with other departments to resolve
* Reconcile customer accounts
* Allocate payments and maintaining the sales ledger accurately
* Monitor credit limits and escalate any issues
* Aged debt reporting
* Prepare and issue monthly statements to customers
* Setting up new customer accounts and performing credit checks
Requirements
This role is suited to someone with experience in a credit control role who is used to managing their own ledger. Strong communication and negotiation skills are key.
