Our core business activities are teaching and learning, widening access to education, research and innovation, and technology and knowledge transfer. - THE ROLE - The Resourcing Partner (Compliance, Planning, and Quality) will make a significant contribution to the development of the Resourcing Section as a centre of expertise, utilising modern and innovative resourcing techniques, solutions, systems, and processes. The appointee will work closely with the Head of Resourcing Operations to develop and deliver innovative and effective approaches to compliance, quality, and systems. - ABOUT YOU - The postholder will provide detailed and timely expert guidance on UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) processes and procedures to internal and external customers, using judgement to suggest the most appropriate course of action and, where appropriate, seek policy or case-specific clarification from UKVI. The postholder will ensure that the published University UKVI guidance is clear and up to date. The postholder will assess and ensure requirements and eligibility are met for UK visa routes which require University support (e.g., Skilled Worker, Government Authorised Exchange, and Global Talent). The postholder will act as the initial escalation point for queries relating to Certificate of Sponsorship assignment and sponsorship duties (including reporting and record-keeping duties). The postholder will ensure that appropriate systems, training, guidelines, and processes are in place to ensure the quality of recruitment exercises, contracts, and the information delivered to the payroll team, and conduct appropriate monitoring and quality control checks across the Resourcing Section.
