GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to work full-time (5 days per week) in secondary schools across Newcastle upon Tyne. About the Role: As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, supporting students’ understanding of scientific concepts and practical skills. You will play a key role in maintaining high standards of teaching, learning, and classroom management. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons in line with the national curriculum Teach Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics depending on specialism Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing effective feedback Maintain a positive, well-managed, and inclusive classroom environment Work collaboratively with departmental and wider school teams Uphold safeguarding, behaviour, and school policies at all times Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential Experience teaching Science at secondary level Strong subject knowledge and curriculum understanding Confident classroom management and communication skills Ability to commit to 5 days per week Flexible, reliable, and committed to student achievement An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one with GSL Education Why Choose GSL Education?
