The Role
As a Production Machine Operative, you will be responsible for operating and setting up machinery to ensure materials are processed accurately, efficiently, and in line with production schedules.
Key responsibilities include:
* Operating production machinery safely and efficiently
* Setting up machines according to job specifications and measurements
* Reading and following job sheets and production instructions
* Ensuring finished products meet quality and accuracy standards
* Carrying out routine machine checks, cleaning, and basic maintenance
* Identifying and reporting faults, errors, or material issues
* Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
* Following all health & safety procedures and company policies
* Working collaboratively to achieve daily production targets
