We’re recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to join our Head Office team in Thornton-Cleveleys. What You’ll Be Doing As a Project Manager at Addison, you’ll: * Lead small to medium-sized design engineering projects, primarily in the chemical, petrochemical and COMAH sectors * Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget. * Manage all phases of the project lifecycle – from planning and design to installation, commissioning, and handover. * Interpret client requirements and translate them into clear, actionable deliverables. * Monitor progress on-site or liaise with construction managers to ensure project milestones are met. * Oversee budgets, resources, and quality standards, ensuring every detail is accounted for. * Coordinate project elements across mechanical, electrical, civil/structural, and process engineering disciplines. What We’re Looking For * Proven experience managing design engineering projects in industrial environments. * Strong understanding of project management principles, regulations, and best practices. * HNC or UK higher qualification in an engineering discipline (degree preferred). * Excellent planning, organisational, and communication skills. * Experience managing budgets and working within design teams. * Comfortable working independently or collaboratively, with or without the support of a planner, quantity surveyor, or project engineer. * Proficient in project management software, including Microsoft Project, and generally software literate with the ability to adapt to new tools and systems. * A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to quality and safety.
