Iconic Resourcing are delighted to be working with a market leading business based in Glasgow city centre in their search for a Financial Controller to join the finance function on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract basis. Our client has a significant presence in Glasgow and it's site here is at the heart of it's global operations. The successful candidate will be key to the wider finance team.

As this role is a 12 month FTC, we are seeking candidate available immediately or at short notice.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver monthly management reporting and analysis across Group financials (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) with actionable insights
* Coordinate budget/reforecast processes regionally and manage key financial controls including balance sheet reconciliations
* Lead group accounting matters and provide risk-based challenge on accounting procedures across the business
* Manage year-end/half-year processes ensuring timely delivery of reconciliations and audit support
* Oversee system maintenance for cost centres, reporting hierarchies, G/L accounts, and period management
* Drive finance transformation and continuous improvement initiatives, supporting smooth transition to BAU
* Support audit activities including deliverable ownership and coordination
Previous Experience:
Our client is seeking an immediately available, or available at short notice, qualified or QBE accountant with experience at a similar level. Demonstrable experience in the above responsibilities is required, and some experience of working in a global business or shared services environment would be advantageous.
