Key Responsibilities
1. Carry out plain film (x-ray) examinations under supervision within a defined scope of practice.
2. Manipulate radiographic equipment and patients to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
3. Ensure high standards of patient care.
4. Perform routine procedures in all x-ray rooms for cooperative patients.
5. Communicate effectively with team members for smooth department operation.
6. Adhere to Radiation Protection, IR(ME)R guidelines, and local rules.
7. Follow Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
8. Participate in departmental quality assurance programs.
9. Report and record equipment faults.
10. Undertake other duties appropriate to the role.
11. Demonstrate safe manual handling and infection control measures.
12. Engage in continuous professional development and participate in performance appraisals.
