 About the Role 

As a Surf Technician, you’ll be at the heart of the surf operation - ensuring sessions run smoothly, safely and on time. You’ll support guests from arrival through to the water, deliver engaging safety briefings, and manage surf equipment to the highest standards.

This role combines customer service, organisation and operational awareness in a fast-moving environment.

 Key responsibilities include: 

* Manage visitor arrival, check-in and equipment issue

* Deliver clear and confident surf safety briefings for sessions and experiences

* Ensure correct equipment allocation, sizing and rotation throughout the day

* Support the smooth running of surf sessions alongside lifeguards and hosts

* Maintain cleanliness, organisation and equipment care across the department

* Monitor stock levels and remove damaged equipment from circulation

* Communicate professionally with guests and team members using radio protocols

* Promote repeat bookings and provide information on videos, pricing and experiences

 About You 

You’re organised, energetic and confident engaging with customers. You enjoy working as part of a team and take pride in delivering great experiences.

 We’re looking for: 

* Strong customer service and communication skills

* Confidence delivering group briefings and managing sessions

* Good attention to detail and equipment care

* A proactive, positive mindset aligned with our FAIR values

 Qualifications 

* Experience in a customer-facing or operational role preferred

* Willingness to complete Surf Ops, Health & Safety and COSHH training
