What you’ll do on a typical day:
Ensure that the customer needs are fully understood and translated into effective operational plans
* Establish a positive working relationship with the customer and all associated functions, product teams, transport providers, IT systems, quality and other service departments and resolve problems to the benefit of the business
* Aid in the management and planning of the people resource ensuring that the correct level of resource is available to manage the specific peaks for the whole operation
* Review operational performance with a view to providing a culture of continuous improvement
What you need to succeed at GXO:
IOSH Managing Safely qualification would be advantageous
* Previous experience in Continuous Improvement is essential
* Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written
* Demonstrate experience in a fast moving retail logistic operation
