ROLE OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE
ABM UK, a leading provider of facility service solutions in the UK, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Office Corporate Cleaning Supervisor to join our team. As an Office Corporate Cleaning Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the cleaning operations of our client's office spaces. Your attention to detail, strong leadership skills, and ability to motivate a team will contribute to the overall success of our facility service solutions.
Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate the cleaning team to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations
* Train and onboard new cleaning staff, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge
* Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality standards are met and maintained using ABM’s digital cleaning process
* Manage and maintain cleaning schedules and assignments
* Provide guidance and support to cleaning staff, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise
* Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed
* Adhere to health and safety guidelines and ensure staff compliance
* Responsible for making sure that there is a high level of health and safety “Good Catches”
* Support the cleaning manager with ABM health and safety portal
* Support the cleaning manager with ABM Human Resources Portal
* Support with the site Time and Attendance process
* Supervise the ABM site digital checking process, making sure the team are adhering to the policy
* Support the cleaning manager by attending client meetings/huddles
* Responsible for the operational requirements when the cleaning manager is on leave
Requirements
Requirements
* Previous experience in a supervisory role within the commercial corporate cleaning environment, preferably within a blue-chip company, supervising large teams.
* Strong knowledge of office cleaning techniques, equipment, and products
* Excellent leadership and communication skills
* Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
* Attention to detail with a focus on maintaining high cleaning standards
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations
* Strong information technology skills
· Proven track record in dealing with high profile clients
· Track record of supervising porter duties. (an advantage to have, but not necessary to start with)
* ISOH Managing Safely (an advantage to have, but not necessary to start with)
* BICSc (an advantage to have, but not necessary to start with)
