We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 2 Swim Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for swimming and a commitment to educating individuals of all ages in water safety and swimming techniques. As a Swim Instructor for Swim City, you will play a crucial role in fostering a positive learning environment, ensuring that each participant feels confident and safe while developing their swimming skills.
Duties
* Conduct engaging swim lessons for individuals and groups of various skill levels, from beginners to advanced swimmers.
* Educate students on water safety, swimming techniques, and personal fitness through Swim City structured lesson plans.
* Assess students progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their skills.
* Create a supportive and encouraging atmosphere that motivates students to achieve their swimming goals.
* Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the pool area, ensuring all equipment is in good condition.
* Communicate effectively with students and parents regarding progress, concerns, and any necessary adjustments to lesson plans.
* Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities form Swim City to enhance teaching methods and stay updated on best practices in swim instruction.
Skills
* Proven experience in sports coaching or teaching swim lessons is preferred.
* Strong ability to educate individuals of varying ages and skill levels effectively.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, with the ability to inspire confidence in learners.
* Patience, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude towards teaching others.
* Strong organisational skills to plan lessons effectively and manage time during sessions.
* Knowledge of first aid and CPR is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.

HOURS Hours Teaching time per week
6 weeks holidays per year
You would be classes as a JNR Partner within our LLP and you would be classed as self employed for tax purposes.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £24,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
