Gap personnel are proud to be working in partnership with The Range to support the recruitment at their brand-new Distribution Centre, the largest warehouse built in over 5 years in Stowmarket, Suffolk.
These are permanent positions and offers the successful candidates an exciting opportunity to join a fantastic organisation in a progressive environment.
Shift Pattern: 4 days on 2 days off schedule being only 244 working days per year (260 on a normal 5-day week) 06:00-14:30 and 14:30-23:00 rotating
Annual Salary: Excellent remuneration

What does the role entail?
1. Coordinating stock control operations within the warehouse.
2. Analysing supply chain data to ensure the uninterrupted availability of stock.
3. Maintaining a steady flow of stock from storage to where it is needed.
4. Planning & performing daily inventory audits.
5. Comply with site Health & Safety regulations.
6. Process improvements, changes, and implementations.
7. Responsible for setting the operational tasks and direction of your shift team.
8. Develop colleagues within your team by performance management and mentoring
What skills & experience do we seek?
9. Understanding of logistics & warehousing operations
10. Experience as a stock controller in a similar industry.
11. Proficiency in inventory management software.
12. Great analytical and problem-solving skills.
13. Good communication skills
14. Exceptional organizational, leadership and time management skills.
15. Strong team player
16. FLT experiences preferred but not essential

The process:
Initial telephone/skype interviews will be conducted by a member of the gap personnel team. Following this, successful candidates will be put forward for an interview with The Range at the beginning of March with a commencement date throughout the year.
