Role Details
Pay: £28,163 per annum (based on 40 hours per week)
Working Hours: 38 hours a week, 9.5 hours a day over 4 days with a day off in the week

About Our Nursery
Little Green Rascals Elvington is dedicated to nurturing children naturally within an Organic Day Nursery concept. Surrounded by roaming animals and Winn Wood, we provide a home-like environment with landscaped gardens for daily activities such as riding bikes, mud kitchen play, willow tunnels, and more. We’re based between the village of Elvington and York, on the grounds of York Maze.
What Your Role Involves
* Create a warm, fun, and nurturing environment where children feel safe and thrive.
* Plan and deliver engaging, play-based activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
* Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
* Monitor and celebrate children’s development milestones, keeping records to share with parents.
* Support the day-to-day running of the nursery, maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and care.
* Be a team player, offering guidance to apprentices and volunteers while learning from others.
