The Workplace Experience Team is a high-performing, collaborative group responsible for initiatives like Future Ways of Working, Customer Experience, and Customer Insights.
The Future Ways of Working team focuses on embedding modern working practices across the civil service. After successfully delivering the smarter working programme, they support ongoing innovation and flexibility in work practices.
The Engagement Manager for Future Ways of Working will facilitate contributions from networks and practitioners to inform future work designs through engaging events and analysis. They will also provide guidance on embedding modern work practices.
The team supports various areas within GPA, and flexibility is required to assist other teams as needed.
Key Responsibilities
As the Engagement Manager, your duties will include:
* Supporting the delivery of the interoperability programme by developing the ‘Ways of Working’ pillar and engaging with practitioner groups.
* Analyzing lessons from interoperability pilots to identify challenges and enablers, and advising on change management practices.
* Managing the cross-government Smarter Working Community of Practice, including hosting events and developing tools to showcase GPA’s expertise.
* Leading workplace change communication and engagement activities across government and beyond.
* Facilitating sessions and co-hosting events for internal and external audiences.
* Developing and maintaining smarter working communities to promote GPA’s leadership in workplace experience.
* Collaborating with Customer Experience and Insights teams to address behavioral change challenges and develop support tools.
* Reviewing research to produce insights and maintain GPA’s reputation as a thought leader in smarter working.
* Line managing the EO support officer post.
