We have an exciting opportunity for the right candidate as an Employer Engagement Officer. The role involves engaging with employers to secure work placements and jobs for our young learners with learning disabilities and/or autism in the Worcester area.

As an Employer Engagement Officer, you will lead employer engagement for the Worcester team. Your responsibilities include building strong relationships with employers across various sectors to secure work placements and negotiate paid employment for supported interns. Interns are supported in the workplace by a Skills Coach, and you will oversee their progress to ensure placements lead to independence and paid work.

What will you need to be an Employer Engagement Officer?
* Ability to work independently
* Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills
* Ability to work effectively with learners, employers, professionals, and parents/carers
* Proficiency in maintaining accurate records using IT systems
* Employer engagement and marketing experience is preferred, as creating work opportunities is a key aspect of the role
