Our client is a well-established and respected contractor in the social housing sector, known for delivering high-quality refurbishment and maintenance works across the UK. Due to continued growth and project demand, they are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee key contracts, ensuring successful delivery and excellent client relationships.
The Role:
As Contracts Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing multiple projects, acting as the key point of contact between the client and internal delivery teams. You will be responsible for the successful execution of social housing projects, ensuring compliance, quality, and cost control all while fostering a strong client interface and ensuring regular, accurate reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the delivery of social housing refurbishment or maintenance contracts.
Act as the primary interface between the business and the client.
Prepare and deliver regular performance and progress reports to clients and senior management.
Lead, mentor, and support site managers and supervisors.
Ensure works are delivered safely on time, and within budget.
Monitor contract compliance and manage variations and risk.
Build strong relationships with clients, residents, and internal teams.
Key Requirements:
Proven experience as a Contracts Manager in the social housing sector.
Strong background in client interfacing and stakeholder management.
Excellent reporting and communication skills both written and verbal.
Ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously.
Knowledge of health & safety regulations and compliance.
SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications preferred.
Driving licence essential.
