We have an opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join our Coldstore & Warehouse Team at Lisburn due to ongoing growth.
The role of the Warehouse Team Leader is to assist with the efficient running of the warehouse operations during the shift and to meet the needs of the business. You report directly to the Warehouse Supervisor.
About The Role
Key Responsibilities:
· Assist with the receipt, storage, picking, wrapping, quality checking and dispatch of all goods which pass through the warehouse.
· Supporting the nightshift operation on a daily basis and supporting the team.
· Perform warehouse operations and complete supporting paperwork.
· Process receipts and shipments in a timely manner.
· Maintain / Improve the appearance and cleanliness of the warehouse.
· Comply with Company’s Health & Safety standards.
· Operate Forklifts, etc used in the warehouse in a safe manner.
· Motivate, encourage and give feedback to the employees on shift for continuous improvement.
· Ensure all documentation is completed and up to date on your shift for audit purposes.
· Carryout any other reasonable management request to meet the needs of the business when required.
Key Requirements:
· Previous warehouse experience is essential.
· Crossdock operations experience.
· Valid Forklift Certificates. (Counterbalance / Aislemaster)
· Experience using Warehouse Inventory Management systems is desirable.
· Excellent attention to detail and IT literate in standard packages.
· Good interpersonal, written, literacy and team skills.
Terms:
· Full Time, 40 hours per week.
· £15.65 - £16.15 per hour
· 5 days from 7. Night Shift, 6.00pm – 3.00am
· 2 shifts off together.
