Duties of a Housekeeping Manager:
* Overseeing the day-to-day running of the housekeeping department across the resort, ensuring all areas including bedrooms, bathrooms, serviced office spaces and public areas are cleaned and presented to a high standard
* Working closely with the Accommodation Services Manager as part of the Housekeeping Management team
* Using initiative to manage operational challenges and implementing innovative solutions
* Leading by example in a hands-on role, motivating and developing the housekeeping team through coaching, mentoring and on-the-job training
* Ensuring consistent standards of cleanliness, attention to detail and guest satisfaction
* Managing team rotas, ensuring adequate cover seven days a week
* Supporting and contributing to a positive, people-focused working culture
What we would like from you:
* Previous experience in a Housekeeping Management role is essential
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy operation
* A passion for cleanliness and high standards with a keen eye for detail
* A people person with excellent interpersonal and team leadership skills
* Ability to coach, develop and motivate a team
* Flexibility to work on a rota basis, including weekends
* A proactive and positive attitude, with a willingness to embrace the company s culture and values
