Business Development Manager Location: Field-based Salary: £36,000 base (plus OTE £50,000 uncapped) Full-time: Permanent Job summary: As a Business Development Manager, you will expand our dealer base across a designated region. They will have the ability to drive sustainable growth through boosting sales and forming strong relationships with our dealer partners. What you’ll do: Develop a growth strategy to maximise sales Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers Identify, secure and nurture new partnerships Promote the Company’s products/services addressing or predicting client’s objectives Understand all aspects of insurance product regulations for FCA requirements (training can be given) Ensure Dealers are aware of FCA and internal compliance requirement Other reasonable duties as required What you’ll bring: Skills and competencies Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate meaningfully at all levels Excellent organisational and time-management skills Ability to build effective relationships Personal attributes Resilient and adaptable Ability to influence colleagues and customers cross functionally with no reporting lines Independent, highly motivated and capable of achieving objectives in a positive manner with the minimum of supervision An accomplished team player, with well-balanced interpersonal skills What we’re looking for: Essential: Previous experience in a field-based role A background in New Business Strong experience in relationship management Preferred: Experience in either a Motor, Finance and/or Insurance industry Proficiency in Microsoft Packages Unfortunately, we are unable to provide sponsorship for work permits.
