Overview
Our client, a well-established and highly regarded law firm based in Ballymena, is seeking an experienced Solicitor to join their busy Conveyancing and Probate department. This opportunity has arisen due to retirement and continued departmental growth, offering excellent long-term prospects within a supportive and professional team environment.
The successful candidate will manage their own caseload of residential conveyancing and private client matters, supported by experienced secretarial staff. This role would suit a solicitor who enjoys client contact, values quality service, and is seeking a friendly and progressive firm with a strong local reputation.
Key Responsibilities
Managing a full caseload of residential conveyancing transactions, including sales, purchases, re-mortgages, and transfers of equity Handling a varied range of private client matters, including Wills, EPAs, probate, and estate administration Advising clients on all aspects of property and probate law with professionalism and efficiency Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and professional contacts Supervising and supporting support staff as required to ensure smooth case progression Contributing to the ongoing success and growth of the department through excellent client service
Essential Skills and Experience
Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 3-5 years' PQE in conveyancing and probate Proven ability to manage files independently from instruction to completion Strong client relationship management and communication skills Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability Ability to work effectively as part of a supportive, team-oriented practice
