As Finance Manager, you’ll be a key player in the successful delivery of projects, ensuring precision-led financial management and collaborating with teams to maintain high standards from start to finish. Main Duties * Oversee preparation and delivery of monthly and annual financial reporting, including management accounts, balance sheets, and P&L statements. * Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and statutory requirements. * Manage VAT returns, PAYE, payroll, and other regulatory filings. * Take responsibility for accounts payable/receivable and cash flow monitoring. * Provide financial insights, analysis, and recommendations to senior management. * Maintain and improve financial systems and processes. * Lead, support, and develop a small finance team, maintaining accuracy and efficiency. Skills & Experience * Proven experience in a senior or leadership finance role. * Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA). * Strong experience in management reporting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial controls. * Commercially astute, able to communicate financial info to non-finance stakeholders. * Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills. * Confident working with senior management and key decision-makers. * Experience in construction is a plus, but not essential. ⏰ Role Details * Hours: Monday–Friday, flexible working * Location: Office-based, County Durham * Salary: £50,000 DOE annual company bonus * Type: Permanent position Why Join? * Be part of a high-quality, reputable construction business * Play a key role in strategic financial decision-making * Work in a supportive and development-focused culture Interested?
