Computer Science Teacher – Full-Time, Long-Term Position

Salary: £34,398 – £46,839 per annum (dependent on experience)

Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality Computer Science lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students
* Plan and teach engaging lessons that develop students' problem-solving, coding, and analytical skills
* Support the development of practical computing skills, including programming and digital literacy
* Create a positive and stimulating learning environment where students are encouraged to explore new technologies
* Assess student performance, provide constructive feedback, and track progress
* Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, resources, and best practices
* Encourage student participation in extracurricular activities, such as coding clubs or tech challenges
What We’re Looking For
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – preferred but not essential
* Experience teaching Computer Science at the secondary level
* Strong subject knowledge in programming, algorithms, and digital technology
* Ability to inspire students and foster a love for technology and computing
* Excellent communication and classroom management skills
* Passion for developing students’ technical skills and preparing them for the future
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
