The opportunity
A leading UK law firm is looking to expand its independent healthcare team with the addition of a Corporate Solicitor. The successful candidate will join a highly regarded national corporate practice known for advising clients throughout the business life cycle - from start-ups and scale-ups to well-established corporates.

The team
This dedicated healthcare team forms part of a wider corporate department, comprising over 50 Fee Earners and 20 Partners many of whom are recommended in leading legal directories.
With significant sector expertise, the team supports a diverse client base including:
1. Care home operators and domiciliary care providers
2. Private GP and dental practices, opticians and pharmacies
3. Allied healthcare professionals and clinics
4. Medical device companies and healthcare staffing agencies
The role
You'll work closely with Partners and Senior Lawyers to deliver high-quality legal services to clients in the independent healthcare space. Key responsibilities include:
5. Advising on M&A transactions, joint ventures, disposals and restructures
6. Drafting and negotiating corporate transaction documents
7. Supporting regulatory compliance, corporate governance and risk management
8. Collaborating with specialists in employment, real estate and litigation
9. Building and managing client relationships with a commercial and proactive mindset
10. Contributing to business development activity and thought leadership
What we're looking for
11. Qualified Solicitor (NQ-4 years' PQE)
12. Strong grounding in corporate law, ideally with exposure to healthcare or other regulated sectors
13. Exceptional drafting, communication and negotiation skills
14. Client-focused, commercially minded and solutions-driven
15. Comfortable working as part of a multidisciplinary team
