An exciting opportunity has arisen within Community Learning and Development (CLD) for a CLD Support Worker (Adult Learning) to support the operational development and delivery of Adult Learning in North Lanarkshire.
Working as part of the Adult Learning and wider CLD teams the post holder will ensure the delivery of community-based adult learning and support for adults from disadvantaged communities across North Lanarkshire. This involves working collaboratively with partner agencies, third sector and volunteers to provide adult learning programmes. The post holder will also monitor and evaluate services provided through effective planning.
An enthusiastic and motivated individual, you will have good communication skills, the ability to work well as part of a team and be confident to deliver a variety of learning programmes. You must have relevant qualifications at SCQF level 5 and above and previous experience of community-based work with young people or adults.
These posts are for 7 and 14 hours per week which can be worked over Monday to Friday. This can include day and evening. Candidates must be able to travel across North Lanarkshire. The CLD Support Worker will be line managed by a CLD Worker within the locality team.
