This role would suit a skilled Plater Welder who is looking to further develop technically within a heavy industrial environment, with clear pathways available into senior engineering or supervisory positions. The Job Role of the Plater/ Welder You will be responsible for carrying out fabrication, welding and structural repair work across a range of automated production plant and equipment. This will include heavy plate fabrication, structural modifications, reactive breakdown support and planned preventative maintenance tasks to ensure maximum uptime, safety and operational efficiency. Working closely with the wider engineering team, you will play a key role in maintaining site reliability standards while contributing to continuous improvement projects and plant upgrades.
