Grounds Maintenance Operative - Temporary aprox May to August

We are seeking a dedicated Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our grounds maintenance team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys outdoor work and has a keen interest in maintaining the aesthetics and safety of outdoor spaces. The primary duties will involve grass cutting and litter picking, ensuring our grounds are well-kept and presentable.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Perform routine grass cutting using various types of mowers and trimming equipment.
* Conduct litter picking to maintain cleanliness across all maintained areas.
* Operate a range of hand tools and power equipment safely and efficiently.
* Carry out basic maintenance and cleaning of equipment used.
* Report any issues or hazards identified on-site to the management promptly.
* Adhere to health and safety policies and procedures at all times.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Experience in grounds maintenance or a similar role is preferred but not essential.
* Ability to operate maintenance equipment, including lawnmowers and hand tools.
* Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks.
* Good time management skills to complete tasks within scheduled hours.
* A team player who can also work independently.
* Attention to detail and pride in creating visually appealing outdoor spaces.
