Job Title: Production Operative Pay rate: £15.14 per hour shift allowance Location: Devizes Type: Temporary - Ongoing Hours: Shift Due to continued growth and increased production demands, we are recruiting multiple Production Operatives to join Cross Manufacturing, a global leader in the manufacture of precision-engineered rings and seals for aerospace, automotive, and industrial applications. These roles are based within the manufacturing areas responsible for the production of turbo rings. Successful candidates will be trained to work across different areas of the factory, supporting a variety of processes depending on business needs and individual skillsets. Key Responsibilities Hands-on operation across multiple manufacturing processes involved in turbo ring production Operate bespoke machinery and hand tools Working to close tolerances and precise measurements Accurately following SOPs, QA requirements, inspection procedures, and control plans Supporting colleagues across multiple processes, including heat treatment Maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and housekeepingSkills & Experience Required A hands-on, dexterous approach with a keen eye for detail Confident with numbers and measurements Ability to interpret and follow standard operating procedures to a high standard Comfortable standing for long periods, due to the bespoke machinery and process set-up Strong team player with a flexible attitude and willingness to support othersDesirable Experience Previous experience within a multiskilled role Working with small components, metal preparation, or wiring advantageous Comfortable working in a manufacturing or production environment Experience in quality-driven or regulated environmentsWorking Hours This is a weekly rotating shift role: Monday - Thursday: 6:00am - 2:00pm / 2:00pm - 10:00pm Friday: 6:00am - 1:00pm / 1:00pm - 8:00pmImmediate starts for the right candidate.
