Overall Summary: To undertake and/or oversee all of the processes and procedures within the team. Ensure that all tasks are completed in a timely manner, and that exceptions, issues and related items are identified, escalated and resolved in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
* Oversee the accurate and timely completion of BAU activities
* Escalate issues when appropriate
* Ensure compliance with team procedures and keep them up to date
* Implement system/process validation checks
* Document configuration changes in line with company policy
* Use subject matter expertise to resolve complex process challenges, escalating priorities to ensure a positive client and employee experience
* Assist with ensuring procedures are up to date and provide technical coaching regarding revised procedures, system enhancements or regulatory changes affecting the department
* Suggest ways to mitigate areas of risk/exposure identified within the department
* Provide root cause analysis of significant and repetitive reconciliation breaks
* Identify process improvement opportunities to increase efficiency and enhance client/user experience
* Perform departmental testing when required
Regulatory Responsibilities ¦ Compliance/T&C
* Demonstrate understanding of the regulatory framework relevant to the role, while practising effective risk management for client outcomes
* Follow and demonstrate compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures that apply to the conduct of the business, including FCA principles and the internal requirements set out in the Compliance Manual, local and Group Compliance and Risk policies
