About The Role
We seek compassionate team members to support customers with learning disabilities and complex needs. Responsibilities include personal care, cleaning, record keeping, and supporting health and wellbeing, including attending health appointments.
The goal is to deliver person-centered, outstanding service that enhances the lives of people with profound learning disabilities, offering choice, respecting their voices, and supporting their independence.

The role is permanent, covering various shifts including weekends and bank holidays, with potential changes based on service needs (earlies, lates, sleep-ins).

About You
The ideal candidate will have:
* A positive attitude towards person-centered care for individuals with learning disabilities
* Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulation
* Experience in a busy care environment, including personal care, manual handling, and daily support
* Record keeping skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Basic numeracy and literacy skills
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Reliability, punctuality, and confidentiality
* Flexibility and initiative
Punctuality and reliability are essential due to shift requirements, which include early mornings, late finishes, weekends, and occasional night shifts. Candidates should have up-to-date mandatory training and ideally hold a Level 2 diploma in health and social care or be willing to obtain it. Knowledge of health and social care legislation and CQC standards is important.
