The Role:
Hampshire County Council is offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Contract Manager to take on the implementation and management of a new, large scale contract.
As the County Council's category lead for common use goods, County Supplies acts as a procurement specialist and buying agent to corporate departments, schools and other local authorities for a range of goods and services.
We are seeking an exceptional Contract Manager to join our County Supplies team within the Children's Services directorate. This role involves overseeing the management of an outsourced education catering contract covering approximately 200 schools, valued at £12 million annually, with a single supplier. As a new outsource the Contract Manager will play a pivotal role in the mobilisation and launch of the contract, ensuring smooth operations and effective management from day one and throughout the contract term.
The successful candidate will have experience managing large contracts, including mobilisation and rollout, stakeholder engagement, performance monitoring and risk management. In addition, you need:
