Assistant Service Manager – Part‑time (30 hours per week)
We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Service Manager covering services in Caister‑on‑Sea and Beccles on a part‑time contract. A full UK driving licence is required due to the need to drive between services.
As an Assistant Service Manager you will report to the Service Manager, work alongside them to support a team of Support Workers, and ensure the smooth running of the service.
Responsibilities
* Have strong communication skills with the people we support, colleagues and other stakeholders.
* Be confident in leading and managing a team.
* Be flexible, ensuring adequate support across the management team on site.
* Previous supervisory experience is desirable but not essential.
* Be IT literate.
* Support the Service Manager with agreed management tasks.
* Support the team with their development.
* Ensure compliance across the team and service.
Key skills: confident in using a computer and electronic systems, ability to work independently, and strong organisational skills.
Requirements
* Part‑time contract (30 hours per week).
* Full UK driving licence.
* Previous supervisory or team‑lead experience is desirable.
