The Trust is seeking to develop its physical health monitoring/intervention programme for persons open to community mental health and specialist teams. This will include those with an eating disorder who may require additional monitoring, and will be at various locations within the Trust clinics, but may also include home visits to those unable to attend a clinic. This will include (but not exclusively) the taking of clinical observations, venepuncture, height/weight and recording of electrocardiograms (ECG), in accordance with clinical guidance/indications, in line with Trust policy and procedure. Post-holders will work within Mental Health nursing service within the Southern Health & Social Care Trust, providing person centred interventions and support to patients, their families and carers. The post-holder will be expected to work flexibly across community localities as required and as appropriate. Participate as part of a team, using a person centred approach, assess, plan, implement and evaluate care delivered.

 * To participate in the development of clinical and Social Care Governance in the context of his / her sphere of responsibility.

Skills and Qualifications
 * Currently a Registered Mental Health Nurse OR Registered Learning Disability Nurse OR Registered Adult Nurse on part 1 of the Live NMC Register,
