A leading national law firm is seeking a Solicitor (0–2 years’ PQE) to join its specialist Health, Safety & Environment Regulatory team in Manchester or Birmingham.

The firm is open to applicants with experience in Health & Safety, Environmental Crime, Food Safety, Fire Safety or Motor Prosecutions who are looking to build a career in Regulatory Crime. Full training and ongoing development will be provided.
You’ll work with corporate and insurer-backed clients across England and Wales, defending investigations and prosecutions from initial enquiries through to Crown Court trials. Typical cases include corporate manslaughter, serious health and safety breaches, environmental offences and Coroner’s Inquests arising from workplace fatalities.
This role offers a rare opportunity to practise criminal defence within a corporate setting, handling complex, sensitive and sometimes high-profile matters.
The Ideal Candidate
* Qualified Solicitor with 0–2 years' PQE
* Experience in Health & Safety, Environmental Crime, Motor Crime or Fire Safety preferred
* Highly motivated, adaptable and confident handling responsibility
* Strong communication skills and ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
* Willing to travel nationwide and hold a full UK driving licence
* Committed to delivering outstanding client service and meeting SLA requirements
