42,000 Benefits Whitstable, Kent (Commutable from Canterbury, Herne Bay, Faversham, Sittingbourne, Margate) Are you an experienced Maintenance Engineer looking for a hands-on role where you can take ownership of plant, equipment, and facilities within a dynamic manufacturing environment? This is a great opportunity to join a skilled maintenance team, supporting both reactive and planned maintenance while driving continuous improvement across the site.
You will be responsible for delivering PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance), responding to breakdowns, and supporting projects such as new equipment installations, site regeneration, and sustainability initiatives.
Your work will ensure plant and facilities operate efficiently, safely, and reliably, while contributing to improvements that enhance overall site performance.
In this role, you will liaise with internal teams, contractors, and suppliers to coordinate maintenance activities, embed best practices, and implement solutions to address gaps in current processes.
You will also work with specialist equipment such as PLCs, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and electrical/mechanical plant, producing accurate documentation and maintaining compliance with safety and operational standards.
