The Best Connection are proud to be recruiting multiple Grounds Maintenance Operatives for our well-established client, who provide landscape maintenance and soft landscaping services to local authorities across Hampshire, Surrey, Sussex, and Kent, serving commercial, public, and private sectors.
Location: Horsham
Industry: Agriculture
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 5:00pm
Pay:
* £12.71 per hour (no experience required)
* Up to £14.50 per hour (depending on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out grass cutting using strimmers, pedestrian mowers, and ride-on mowers with trailers (full training provided)
* Maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of all sites
* Operate, maintain, and care for vehicles and equipment
* Perform hedge cutting, shrub and border maintenance, pruning, and leaf clearance
* Undertake landscaping and environmental improvement works, including turfing, seeding, and planting
* Work safely at all times, following health and safety regulations and company policies
Requirements:
* No experience required - just a positive, can-do attitude
* Happy to work outdoors in all weather conditions
* Full UK driving licence to get to site
* Willingness to learn and follow instructions
* Good teamwork and communication skills
* Comfortable with manual, physical work
