Part-Time Bookkeeper – Worthing
On-site 2 days per week
A friendly and growing Bookkeeping & Payroll Services company in Worthing is looking for an experienced Part-Time Bookkeeper to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for a stable, flexible role with a supportive team and a welcoming work environment.
You’ll be working two days a week, 8.30am – 5.00pm, providing accurate bookkeeping services for a range of clients. The role will involve handling day-to-day transactions, preparing accounts, managing payroll, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out day-to-day bookkeeping duties including bank reconciliations and data entry
*
Managing accounts payable and receivable
*
Processing payroll accurately and on time
*
Preparing VAT returns and supporting financial reporting
*
Liaising with clients and HMRC where required
*
Maintaining accurate records and ensuring all documentation is up to date
Skills & Experience Required:
*
Proven bookkeeping experience, ideally within a practice or multi-client environment
*
Proficiency with accounting software, such as Sage or Zero, and MS Office (especially Excel)
*
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
*
Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload
*
Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional manner
They can offer this Part-Time Bookkeeper a salary of £15 - £20 per hour, depending on experience. The position is 2 days per week, on-site in Worthing (8.30am – 5.00pm).
