Dean Wood Manor is a care home that provides long-term facilities for up to 50 elderly residents, as well as specialising in meeting the needs of dementia sufferers, who are able to maintain as interesting and active a lifestyle as possible under the home's care and guidance.

What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll play an important role in enhancing residents’ quality of life by planning and delivering enjoyable activities that support both physical and mental wellbeing.
This includes:
* Creating and organising social and recreational activities
* Planning events both inside and outside of the home
* Encouraging residents to participate and engage
* Consulting with residents to understand their hobbies, interests, and preferences
* Supporting activities that promote independence and confidence
* Building positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues
* Working as part of the wider care team to create a positive environment
* Supporting residents living with dementia and varying individual needs

Skills & Experience
Ideal candidates will have:
* Previous experience in a similar role or care setting
* Experience supporting groups of people with varying needs and interests
* Good organisational and time management skills
* The ability to plan and deliver engaging activities
* Confidence working both independently and as part of a team
