About the Role
The Facilities /Project Engineer role will be located predominately at Havant but will be required to support sites at Westbury and Gloucester as requested.
You'll be working with the site teams to develop and deliver internal facilities projects electrical, mechanical and civil interaction with primary stakeholders such as user groups and other functions (Security, Health & safety, Information Technology).
1. Provides technical Facilities input to scopes and options to meet the desired outcome
2. Supports the development of concepts for Scopes of work that can be actioned by procurement
3. Produces project plans
4. Reviews contractor paperwork and assist with the management of projects to completion and sign off by the business
The role will not be authorized to provide services to or by Lockheed Martin UK, which are directly related to business development, acquisition, or sales efforts for a Lockheed Martin UK customer or potential customer. Any exception to this rule can only be granted, in advance, by the Lockheed Martin UK Ltd, Integrated Systems, Havant representative.
Contractor/Agency to be responsible for maintaining adequate liability insurance, certifications, accreditations, and training required to perform their tasks.
Required skills, qualifications and experience
5. Previous experience in Project Engineering or Project Management ideally within a faciliities or defence environment.
6. Ideally Prince 2 or member of a related accredited organisation.
7. Good working knowledge of 2D and / or 3D packages such as AutoCAD.
8. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Project and the Microsoft office suite.
9. Understanding of Project management techniques.
10. Knowledge and understanding of building regulations.
11. NEBOSH Level 2 Health and Safety at work as a minimum.
12. At least 3 years of professional experience within a facilities or related disciplines.
