Futures are looking to appoint a Project Manager to join a growing and well established manufacturing business.

The role is responsible for overseeing contracts from initial agreement through to final delivery, ensuring customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and profitability. The successful candidate will work cross-functionally with sales, production, technical, and engineering teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities+

Work closely with the sales team to fully understand customer requirements and expectations.
Provide regular project updates to both the customer and internal stakeholders.
Attend customer site visits and meetings as required, representing the company in a professional manner.
Generate project contracts and review project scope, identifying risks and developing mitigation strategies.
Monitor and control contract performance, ensuring all commitments are delivered effectively.
Maintain sales margins while seeking opportunities to increase profitability throughout the project lifecycle.
Collaborate with sales, production, technical, and engineering teams to agree and deliver programmes that meet customer requirements.
Plan and prepare for all Factory Acceptance Test.
Ensure information, documentation, and project data are accurately entered and maintained within contract management systems.
Use IT systems to input, update, and maintain order information, ensuring records reflect changes over time.
Manage the collection, storage, and dissemination of drawings and documentation to all relevant parties.
Actively participate in internal and external meetings relating to contracts and projects.
Ensure effective communication across departments to support smooth project execution.
Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience as a Project Manager in a manufacturing, engineering, or technical environment.
Strong understanding of contract management, risk assessment, and project delivery.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams.
Proficient in the use of project management and IT systems for contract administration.
Strong commercial awareness with the ability to maintain margins and identify growth opportunities.
Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline (preferred).
Project Management Certification
