Due to continued success, our Real Estate Partner seeks a Property Associate to join in London or remotely.
The Role
We seek a Residential Property Solicitor / Legal Executive with 2+ years PQE to join our London-based Residential & Commercial Property team, working remotely.
You will be a key member, involved in fee-earning and transactions, working on a variety of residential property deals, liaising with team members, and coordinating advice across departments.
Your duties will include:
* Drafting and negotiating transaction documents such as sale contracts, leases, and agreements for lease
* Conducting due diligence, including reviewing titles, planning, and searches
* Preparing reports and managing transaction processes
The ideal candidate will have comprehensive knowledge of property transactions, handle workload independently, and have prior residential property experience.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Ownership transfers
* Filing SDLT Returns
* Land Registry searches
* Completion and post-completion admin tasks
* Responding to emails and client communication
* Preparing lease reports and document summaries
* Scheduling deeds and documents
* Administrative duties such as filing, copying, and liaising with clients
This role is suitable for individuals with residential property experience seeking to develop within a top law firm.
The position can be based in our offices or remotely.
Personal Specification
Successful candidates will have:
* 2+ years of property law experience as a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, DocuSign, etc.
* Proactive, organized, and initiative-driven
* Excellent communication skills
* Attention to detail
* Strong IT skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, Data Rooms)
* Ability to prioritize and plan work effectively
