Interim/Temp Credit Controller Duration minimum of 6 months - Start ASAP £(Apply online only) a day PAYE The Credit Controller will handle credit and collections processes to ensure the client's accounts receivable are effectively managed and overdue balances are minimized. The role requires collaboration with internal teams and stakeholders to resolve payment issues, monitor customer accounts, and ensure compliance with company policies. Key Responsibilities: - Managing and maintaining accounts receivable ledgers, ensuring all invoices are collected on time. - Contacting clients by phone, email, and other communication methods to resolve overdue accounts. - Reconciling accounts and investigating payment discrepancies to ensure accurate records are maintained. - Producing weekly/monthly reports on aged debt, cash collections, and credit risk assessments. - Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and other departments to ensure effective resolution of queries. Skills and Experience Required: - Proven experience in credit control, accounts receivable, or a similar role. - Knowledge of accounting principles and familiarity with financial systems - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications for reporting purposes. - Highly organized with keen attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients and internal teams professionally. - Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on achieving deadlines. Preferred Skills: - Experience with ERP systems or specific credit control tools. - Knowledge of industry regulations relating to accounts receivable and debt collection.
