Offer description

You will encourage and support service users in their day-to-day lives, enabling them to live more fulfilling lives while helping them remain in their own homes by providing high-quality, person-centred care. You will be responsible for a wide range of care needs, supporting the service user by taking into account their individual personality and lifestyle choices. You should be kind, caring, compassionate, and passionate about making a difference in the quality of life for our service users. Duties include:

* Providing high-quality, person-centred care to service users in their own homes according to their support plan.
* Performing personal care activities such as washing, dressing, bathing, toileting, and medication assistance.
* Administering medications.
* Supporting shopping and meal preparation.
* Assisting with domestic and daily living tasks, including cleaning.
* Helping service users access the community, socialise, and undertake leisure activities.
* Using manual handling equipment when required.
* Promoting health, wellbeing, independence, and enabling service users to live life to the fullest.
* Working flexible shift patterns, including alternate weekends.
* Maintaining accurate records, observing and reporting changes or concerns in the service user's circumstances or condition.

Bromley Healthcare - Care at Home is recruiting caregivers to provide domiciliary care in Bromley and Bexley (DA5, DA14, DA15). We offer both full-time and part-time opportunities, including evening and weekend shifts, and are open to flexible working arrangements. We are committed to staff development, offering apprenticeships in various subjects, including pathways to nursing careers and degree apprenticeships for Allied Health Professions. Our service aims to be flexible, professional, and reliable, tailoring care packages to meet individual needs and values.
