Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance function at a large-scale manufacturing site in the Leicestershire area. This is a hands-on leadership role, responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of complex production machinery.
Responsibilities
* Oversee and deliver all planned and reactive maintenance activities across the site.
* Develop, manage, and implement a preventative maintenance programme to minimise breakdowns and maximise uptime.
* Lead, supervise, and develop the maintenance team, driving performance against KPIs and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
* Coordinate maintenance projects and liaise with contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure effective delivery.
* Implement corrective and preventative safety measures, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
* Manage spare parts inventory in collaboration with the stock control function.
* Prepare, monitor, and control the annual maintenance budget.
* Ensure accurate logging and reporting of activities within the maintenance management system.
* Contribute to the improvement of reliability processes, ensuring production lines operate at optimum efficiency.
Requirements
* Previous experience in management within a manufacturing, heavy or process plant environment.
* Strong knowledge of SAP or similar maintenance management systems.
* Proven track record of leading teams and managing projects.
* Demonstrated ability to deliver continuous improvements in safety, reliability, and efficiency.
