Your New Job Starting in September, this is a full-time SEND teaching role on a temporary basis, with a strong likelihood of becoming permanent for the right candidate. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, differentiated teaching to small groups of students with diverse learning needs across Key Stages 3 and 4, with some post-16 learners. Key responsibilities include: Planning and delivering engaging, accessible lessons tailored to individual EHCPs. Creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports emotional wellbeing and academic progress. Collaborating with teaching assistants, therapists, and the wider pastoral team. Supporting pupils' communication, independence, and personal development.What You'll Need to Succeed Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS). Experience working with children or young people with SEND, either in a mainstream or specialist setting. A creative, flexible, and nurturing approach to teaching and learning. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. A DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one through Hays.
